Fly Me Away. . .

I don't think anything's wrong with dreaming...especially when it involves clouds and blue skies.

It's a beautiful thang to escape into another world, even if it's only for a few weeks. And, the low summer prices like the ones I'm seeing to fly across country make it mucho appealing. Even I'm thinking about saying, "screw it" and charging a ticket to Costa Rica. Plus, it seems like everywhere I go someone is telling me about going away for a few weeks.

But, I can't help but feel like we're all running away...from something or someone out of fear, hurt, or longing. I know some of us just got out of a relationship or reallllly want to be in one right now. Trust me, I get that. I also understand that getting onto a plane and not thinking about life will only last so long. We can't keep running away from our problems.

So, I say soak up the sun this summer and enjoy all of those margaritas and swimming sessions for the time being. But, when you get back from paradise be ready to face and live with the pain. Yes, see it as another vacation on the island of You.
